Born in Hollywood California in 1945, Stephen Louis Edwards has been performing most of his life. In the early 1970’s he was a regular, performed at the Troubadour’s Songwriters Showcase in Los Angeles, California; alongside acts like The Eagles, Tom Waits and many others. Working with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, he sang a “song in the movie “A Star Is Born”. His voice was used as the singer who replace Kristofferson in the Speedway Band in that movie. He was the vocalist in a national Corolla-la, Toyota commercial. He has also been associated Jim Croce and Johnny Rivers amongst other artists, he has performed on the bill at the Bitter End West and the Bla-Bla Club in Studio City, with jazz great Al Jarreau.
